The Radiology Department teaching programs are strongly influenced by the mission of the University of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit  University Medical Faculty. The essential aim is to provide medical imaging and imaging-guided treatment services in a cost-efficient, less invasive and safe manner while following modern scientific developments and to educate physicians-in-training, medical students and allied health professionals, and ultimately to improve the health of the population through exceptional, comprehensive care, wellness, and education leading the way to healthy population.  

Vision:

Our vision is to be the one of the best departments in providing timely, cost-efficient, and high quality medical imaging and image-guided therapy services for a diverse patient population and to provide compassionate, caring, and high quality medical imaging and image-guided therapy services to improve the quality of life for our patients and their families. Our department also addresses the imaging training and needs of Western Black Sea region through teaching radiological imaging to students, residents, as well as engaging in research and scholarly activity at the highest possible level. Our research and scholarly activities will continue to generate innovative solutions and new knowledge that makes a difference for patient care and the future of healthcare.
