Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University has a legal committee called 'Barrier-free ZBEU' which offers opportunities for students who need special treatment during their education like the facilities other students can use. Students with physical disability, hearing difficulties, dyslexia, epilepsy and diabetes, hyperactive and visually impaired students can benefit from these opportunities.

Gender Equality is the focus of attention in our university where disabled students are integrated into university life. Our university meets the needs of people with disabilities by providing them with elevators and ramps in faculties.

The objectives of Unobstructed Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University Unit:

To support the educational, social and cultural activities of all disabled students of Bülent Ecevit University,

To break down prejudices against disability in our university or abroad and increase social awareness and academic awareness,

To support students with disabilities and assist them in coping with the physical and attitudinal obstacles that have been put forward in their academic and social life,

To make efforts on meeting the requirements for the services of disabled people, staff working at our university and their relatives with disabilities,

To plan services to ensure that our university is accessible to every individual.
