Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine, medical education before graduation program requires the student to reach the competencies specified in the faculty graduation competencies.

It was planned to provide student-centered, problem solving, integrated, a systematic education program based on society, including electives, is implemented. Basic preventive medicine, medical practices, practice as well as medical and clinical medical sciences professional skills such as operations, health promotion, rehabilitation, problem solving; human, professionalism, professional development and life in which social and professional values ​​are gained. It is an integrated program designed to gain competencies related to long learning. Medical education consists of six terms, each of which covers one academic year.

Zonguldak Bulent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine Education Program, medicine teaching in the faculty, student-centered, problem solving, integrated, community-based. There are elective students, which are organized on the basis of coordination between course subjects. It shows a systematic education model feature in horizontal and vertical integration. Medical education consists of six semesters each covering one academic year:

a) Period 1: Basic structure and functions of cell, tissue and organ systems, basic principles of microbiology and laboratory studies, biostatistics

b) Period II: Normal human biology, anatomy, histology and embryology, physiology and general microbiology, biostatistics, introduction to medical pathology and basic reactions and laboratory studies

c) Period III: Pathology, physiopathology, pharmacology, biostatistics of organ systems, public health, introduction to clinical sciences, laboratory studies

d) Period IV: Theoretical and practical training, applied such as clinic and polyclinic basic clinical internships covering fields and laboratory studies

e) Period V: Theoretical and practical training, applied such as clinic and polyclinic clinical internships covering fields and laboratory studies

f) Period VI: It is the internship period, during which theoretical and practical training is given, clinical andexams covering applied area  s such as polyclinics and laboratory studies a period of twelve months in which evaluations are made, but internships.
