The Department of Medical Biochemistry was established in 2000. Since then, we have been expanding our expertise in the fields of teaching, research and postgraduate programs.

Routine and Emergency Biochemistry Laboratory Services have been offered to patients since the foundation of the department. Routine and emergency biochemistry analyses, coagulation analyses, hormone, vitamin, drug level, routine urine and spermiogram analyses have been performed in the laboratorywhich belongs to the Department of Medical Biochemistry. Our laboratory equipped with modern equipment supports research and thesis studies carried out not only in our department but also the other departments within our faculty and university.
