Quality Assurance System at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine
Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine has adopted a comprehensive quality assurance system designed to achieve the strategic objectives outlined in alignment with its mission, vision, and core values, as well as the results from the corporate self-assessment. This system aims to facilitate the continuous improvement of the faculty’s educational, research, and development activities, with a particular focus on regional and national contributions. The faculty aspires to be an effective, efficient, competitive, and entrepreneurial institution at both the national and international levels. The ultimate goal is to improve the management system qualitatively and quantitatively in line with institutional priorities.
In this context, the faculty has embraced the national quality assurance system, which is aligned with international standards such as the ESG 2015 (European Standards and Guidelines). This system was developed as part of the Bologna Process, which brought reforms to the European Higher Education Area, a principle that Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University has adopted. By combining this international framework with its own regional and national cultural values, the faculty has created a robust quality assurance system. The system is based on a quality-oriented management approach, and all activities are conducted in compliance with international standards and relevant legal regulations.
