Social, cultural and sports activities are organized in order to evaluate the extracurricular time of the students in line with their desires and abilities. When students register, they fill out a form and indicate the activities they want to attend then they are provided with these opportunities. The students can play basketball, volleyball, taekwondo, football, road running, and teams selected as finalists in the centre camp participate in university competitions every year. Turkish Art Music, Turkish Folk Music, Theatre, Folk Dances, Photography and Pop Music Clubs participating in the Culture and Art Week participate Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Culture and Arts Sports Week which is held every May.

All the clubs enter some seminars, conferences, excursions, competitions and performances related to their fields in the academic year. The students of the University Theatre Club play various works of authors in each academic year and these plays are exhibited in Zonguldak provinces and districts and the surrounding festivals and in the theatre festivals organized by the universities they are invited to. Tutor fees for the fields like painting, oud, org, guitar, folk dances, Turkish art music, youth choir courses are provided by the university not the students. In addition, the University Culture Festival organized by the students in each May is followed by sporting events, bridge and chess tournaments, exhibitions of theatre plays, paintings, photographs and other courses, and events like classical guitar concerts, Turkish art music concerts, university choir and pop music concerts, folk dance show.
