BEUN FACULTY OF MEDICINE MISSION
The mission of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine is to educate physicians who understand and uphold universal human values, ethical principles, and professional responsibilities; adopt an evidence-based approach to medicine; possess advanced knowledge, skills, and clinical competence; and are capable of making accurate diagnoses and providing appropriate treatment.

Education: To educate physicians who recognize the importance of lifelong learning, can compete at national and international levels, and effectively utilize technological advances and digital health applications through an innovative, student-centered educational approach.
Social Contribution: To provide healthcare services through professionals who prioritize public health, understand and monitor the healthcare needs of society, contribute to solving health problems, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all healthcare stakeholders, prioritize patient safety and quality in healthcare, and demonstrate sensitivity to environmental protection and sustainable healthcare practices.
Research: To educate physicians who engage in lifelong inquiry using reliable sources, follow scientific developments, generate knowledge, and contribute to the global scientific literature through their research; and to conduct research that advances scientific and clinical developments in healthcare in Türkiye and worldwide.
Ethics and Social Responsibility: To educate physicians who adhere to professional ethical principles, respect patients' rights, and are aware of their professional and social responsibilities.
