Our clinic serves with 8 academic members, 7 research assistants (residents) and 1 gynecological oncology fellow, 19 nurses, 13 stuff. Teaching besides 3rd and 4th year medical students and intern doctors, our department teaches and offers residency training (duration 4 years) and gynecologic oncology fellowship training (duration 3 years).  During this training period, rotations in various clinics as Anesthesiology and Reanimation, General Surgery, Urology, Pathology, Radiation oncology, Cardiac Surgery and Medical Oncology are scheduled and has to be completed. The education and training of the 4th year medical students, intern and residents includes gaining knowledge and experience in the theoretical and practical parts of the medical and surgical practice. Regular meetings and clinic councils include original articles, Cochrain® Hour, Uptodate® Hour, mortality and morbidity meetings and specific councils with other clinics. Academic work and publication activity is kept up to date by following recent development, participating in national and international congresses.
